Documoto builds enterprise-scale SaaS solutions for the large and underserved equipment manufacturing aftermarket, operating with positive cash flow, happy customers, and a compelling product. We’re re-entering growth mode after executing a successful turnaround.
We are seeking a strategic CFO with strong operational acumen to partner with the CEO and execute our vision. This is a unique opportunity for a leader that wants to create and build more than optimize and improve. The CFO will use their talents and experience to expand our business capabilities and positively impact our growth trajectory.

- Compensation: $180-220k plus bonus and equity
- Reports To: CEO
Your Mission
As the CFO, you will be a critical strategic leader and tactical executor. You will work alongside the CEO to codify our vision and mission into a defined strategy. You’ll execute our plan, measure it with KPIs, and adjust as it plays out. You’ll obtain the right financing to accomplish our goals. And importantly, your embrace of our core values and a servant-leadership mindset will drive you to find ways to make others successful, to thrive in our culture, and to get the most out of our team – and yourself.
What are the Primary Responsibilities?
As the CFO, you will own Finance & Accounting, Legal, Operations, Facilities, Investor Relations, Customers, and HR, in addition to the below responsibilities:
- Partner with the CEO in the development of our strategic goals and objectives
- Build and execute our plan and accompanying business capabilities
- Find and exploit opportunities for growth
- Measure the business and compare with industry benchmarks: business and departmental KPIs, GTM effectiveness, sales cycles, unit economics, CAC/LTV, etc.
- Understand our market, our buyers, their pain points, our Documoto platform, and how our solutions bring our customers compelling value
- Take prudent risks and define minimal process; remain nimble
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, including modeling, fundraising, treasury management, alternate funding options, and deployment of capital
- Prepare and present information to the Board, leadership, and company at large
- Ensure each Documoto employee has the support needed to be fully successful

What Makes You a Great Fit?
General:
- Minimum 10 years experience in financial and operational leadership at a high-growth organization
- Minimum 5+ years experience in SaaS, preferably in enterprise-scale B2B
- Experience in growth-stage venture-funded companies preferred
- Proven track record of success in fostering organizational growth and development
- Superior management and negotiation skills; ability to engage and influence direct and indirect reports and peers
- Ability to operate as an effective tactical and strategic thinker
- Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interface with management, Board members, staff, partners, and customers
Education:
Business, Accounting, or similar 4-year degree required; MBA preferredWhy join Documoto?
