We are seeking a skilled Marketing Manager to take our Marketing function to the next level. This is a high-impact and broad position where you will be required to roll up your sleeves and execute efficiently. With demonstrated success, there will be growth opportunities for higher level roles and to move into Documoto leadership.

Career Overview

  • Title: Marketing Manager
  • Compensation: $90-120k
  • Reports To: VP Operations
  • Location: Denver, CO

Your Mission

As the Marketing Manager, you will directly contribute to all of Documoto’s marketing efforts, with the primary responsibility of lead generation. It is very much a hands-on role where excellent execution and strong results are expected.

You will partner with Sales in a Revenue Team model to target, attract, and deliver top-of-funnel marketing qualified leads through outbound and inbound programs. You will administer our marketing automation system, manage our website, develop collateral, build and launch marketing campaigns, and run our tradeshow events. You will supervise several contractors and ensure they provide excellent, cost-effective services. As the Marketing team grows, you will recruit, hire, and manage employees to continue expanding Marketing’s reach and capabilities. You will work closely with Documoto leadership to determine how best to apply our Marketing resources for maximum effect.

You will monitor, analyze, test, and continually refine all components of campaign lifecycles and follow email marketing best practices to optimize lead generation.   You will be expected to work cross-functionally with the Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and execute effectively.

What are the Primary Responsibilities?

  • Understand our market, our buyers/personas, their pain points, our Documoto platform, and how our solutions bring our customers compelling value.
  • Create content and perform editorial reviews on contributions from others; deploy content with well-aligned messaging across our website and social channels.
  • Own and optimize Documoto's demand gen channels, such as our website, paid search, retargeting, co-op/partners, display advertising, and industry trade shows.
  • Supervise and direct our Marketing contributors and contractors; hire Marketing staff as growth and needs dictate.
  • Create, communicate, and execute our marketing and editorial calendar.
  • Create in-depth segmentation and targeting strategies, then implement them through a repertoire of inbound and outbound programs and systems.
  • Obtain maximal utilization of our marketing automation system – campaigns, landing pages, lists, progressive profiling, workflows, sequences, lead capture, drips, scoring, analytics & reporting, A/B testing, etc.
  • Manage and maintain our website and associated content.
  • Develop and execute SEO plans for first-page search results on important keywords.
  • Track, report, and analyze marketing effectiveness and campaign performance.
  • Work closely with Sales on messaging, demand generation, and ABM.
  • Exemplify our core values of integrity, transparency, and individual respect.

What Makes You a Great Fit?

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing with 2+ years of experience as a Marketing Manager or leader. Candidates at higher level positions seeking a growth opportunity with a strong builder/doer capability are encouraged to apply.
  • 3+ years of experience in demand generation through marketing automation.
  • 4-year degree in Marketing or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in growth-stage companies is required; B2B SaaS is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the HubSpot Marketing/Sales/CRM platform is required.
  • A startup + growth mindset – appropriately triage work, separate the urgent from the important, handle a variety of tasks, execute rapidly, thrive with less oversight and process, and learn and deliver in real-time.
  • Solid understanding of key concepts such as personas, segmentation, account-based/intent-based marketing, digital body language, and multi-touch marketing.
  • Experience with systems/topics such as SEO, SEM, Google Analytics & Ads, and Rollworks.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and present performance data in a meaningful way.
  • Top-notch writing and editorial skills are required.
  • Excellent presentation, organization, time management, and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player who is self-driven, results-oriented, fun, energetic, and coachable.
  • Experience in manufacturing, technical publications, or engineering is a big plus.
