About Us

We’re builders - of products, relationships, and possibilities. We make mighty moves: staying agile, embracing curiosity, and creating big outcomes from small, smart bets. We execute without ego, lead with empathy, and measure success by the trust we earn - from our customers, our partners and one another.

Headquartered in Denver with teammates across the U.S. and Europe, we're proud to power a platform used in more than 117 countries. Documoto is a Valstone Corporation company, giving us the resources and support to build for the long term.

We understand that when we work as one team, we don’t just build great software - we help the world’s machines keep running strong.

Our Vision

A world where all equipment makers and owners are seamlessly connected to keep equipment running.

Our Mission

We help manufacturers and their partners ensure every part fits, order is right and repair succeeds – enabled by Documoto.

Our Cultural Foundation

Our culture is easy to see but hard to define. It is captured in our beliefs, our values, the actions we take, the language we use, the stories we tell, and how we care for each other. We believe our culture binds us together, provides competitive advantage, offers a sense of connection and meaning, creates passion, and enables achievements. It’s never mandated but always steered and encouraged. We’re proud of our culture and how every team member positively impacts it.

Our Core Values

  • Integrity: Always act with integrity. This is more than just honesty and accountability – be truthful, do what you said you would do, take responsibility, own your work, and seek to always do the right thing.
  • Transparency: Be transparent in your intentions, actions, and communications. Avoid passive aggression, power-seeking, information-hoarding, or other negative behaviors requiring opaqueness or obfuscation.
  • Individual Respect: You are interacting with a person that has a name, their own life experiences, and their self-interests. Act accordingly.

Our Cultural Foundation

Culture at Documoto is how we lead, work, and treat each other every day. It shows up in the decisions we make, the effort we give, and the way we celebrate wins or tackle tough problems together. Our values reflect the kind of people we are and the kind of company we’re building:

Make Mighty Moves

  1. We are agile, using our size as a strength to be able to pivot with purpose.
  2. We make small bets with potential for exponential outcomes.
  3. We believe adequacy is the enemy of greatness - we make great things happen with what we’ve got.
  4. We look for smart people who’ve been part of something excellent and want to make that happen again.
  5. We expect curiosity – people who ask questions, embrace change and drive things forward.
  6. We value people who are self-sufficient, taking ownership of their work, decisions and growth. They don’t need to be managed; they manage themselves toward success.
  7. We value individuals who give every effort their all to better serve our customers, partners and team members - then take planned time to recharge so they can do it all over again.

Execute without Ego

  1. We are people who embody Humility. Empathy. Hunger.
    1. It’s not about me, but we.
    2. It’s not just about what we do, but also who we serve.
    3. It’s not about comfort, it’s about progress.
  2. We check our egos and emotions at the door and stay grounded in facts.
  3. We find laughter even in the grind.
  4. We work as one team. We trust each other, work well together and take pride in doing great work as a group.
  5. We own our mistakes with grace and grow from feedback.
  6. We hire people who are resilient and self-aware.
  7. We continuously self-reflect, measure and identify areas for improvement.

Listen. Respect. Act.

  1. We value people who make those around them better – they are personable, trusted teammates that others want in their corner.
  2. We listen before we act and speak directly - choosing respect over reaction, clarity over assumption and gathering insight before investment
  3. We put employees and the customer at the center of the enterprise, caring deeply and listening intently but never compromising on integrity or purpose.
  4. We debate openly and stand united once a decision is made.
  5. We value individuals who see what’s possible, not what’s missing, and reframe problems as potentials.
  6. We do not allow power, decisions and information bottlenecks at the top of the organization.
  7. We trust that those closest to a problem can and will solve the problem.
  8. We build connection through shared wins, real moments, and our love of dogs, good food and drink, and travel and adventure.

Earn Trust

  1. Reliability, consistency and responsiveness are non-negotiable.
  2. We admit if we don’t know the answer, and then we seek to find it.
  3. We tell the truth with tact – even when it’s tough to say or hard to hear.
  4. We treat company resources like our own – we spend wisely, invest intentionally and waste nothing.
  5. We do what’s right for the greater good of our customers and employees, not just the loudest voice in the room.
  6. Our customers are our partners - we invest in each other’s success.
  7. We do the work that matters and follow through, even when it’s not glamorous.
  8. We strive for every customer and partner to call Documoto best-in-class in our category.

As Thomas Edison so eloquently put it, ‘Strategy without execution is hallucination.’ As Managing Director at Documoto, my job is to ensure we not only listen to our customers but also make strategic decisions that drive business growth, operational efficiency, and long-term value for both our company and our customers. By fostering strong partnerships and maintaining a relentless focus on value, we create lasting success for everyone we serve.

Christa joined Documoto in 2014 and, starting in 2018, spent five years managing the Customer Success and Professional Services team. Later, she spent a year as Director of Product. In 2025, after over a decade of working hand-in-hand with customers in the manufacturing and asset-intensive space, she transitioned to Managing Director. In this role, she is focused on driving business growth, operational excellence, and strategic innovation to ensure Documoto delivers measurable value to its customers. She remains passionate about this industry and is dedicated to fostering strong partnerships while delivering solutions that make a real difference in the way OEMs aftermarket businesses operate.

When we listen deeply and connect authentically, we don’t just solve problems—we build lasting value.”
